The pub opened as a Wessex Taverns house in December 1975 as part of the Eldene Estate development. The pub is served from a hexagon shaped bar which services the whole trading area. Their is a mixture of fixed and loose seating around the building with separate snug enclosures. The elegant structure of the pub is with traditional beams to a high rise roof point and rustic brick exposed walls creating a relaxing ambience to enjoy. The pub houses a darts and pool area for sporting teams.
