Leominster community pub welcomes new licensees with an official launch event

The Barons Cross, located in the beautiful market town of Leominster is relaunching this weekend under the leadership Gillian Moss, who will be running her first pub at the Barons Cross alongside her husband Dave. There is also a planned joint investment of around £100,000 with award winning community pub company Admiral Taverns, to be completed later in the year.

As part of the re-launch of the pub, the Barons Cross has already undergone a small internal refurbishment to enhance the relaxed cosy atmosphere that will welcome the local residents. The pub is proud to have the largest beer garden in Leominster which will be a welcome addition over the summer and events planned in the garden include Octoberfest, where the pub will offer unique German beers throughout the week as well as allowing customers to camp nearby.

The Barons Cross will be launching a delicious food menu on the night of the 13th, featuring fresh homemade dishes such as pizza, pie, steak and burgers. There will also be a huge variety of drinks on offer to accompany the delicious food, such as Estrella, San Miguel, Carling, Guinness, Doombar and plenty of spirits available too.

Licensee Gillian has always wanted to run her own pub and has moved back from France to fulfill this dream. She is incredibly excited to be offering something unique to the town of Leominster, with a huge number of plans already in place throughout the summer. With the help of her experienced husband, they make the perfect addition to this fantastic pub.

The launch event will take place on Saturday 13th July where Clive Thomas, the Mayor of Leominster, will cut the ribbon to officially declare the pub open and welcome the community to the Barons Cross. Local residents will be treated to live music and a broad selection of drinks on offer. No tickets are needed for the launch evening, but locals are encouraged to bring along their families and friends to see the fantastic new pub and enjoy the occasion.
