Flight Mode! The Falcon Inn spreads its wings following refurbishment

The Falcon Inn, located on the outskirts of seaside town Felixstowe, has soared back into action this week following an £85,000 investment from partnering pub company Admiral Taverns. With a fresh new look and a soon to be launched bar snack menu, the pub is determined to put itself back on the Felixstowe map.

Experienced licensee Gina Corani has worked in the industry for over thirty years and lived locally in the area for much of that time. Taking on the pub in 2017 she was determined to return The Falcon to its former glory and create a family friendly, community led culture.

With the support of pub company partner Admiral Taverns, the pub has undergone an impressive refurbishment, creating a relaxing space for locals to enjoy. To celebrate the reopening the pub hosted a celebration party which saw guests enjoying the pub’s welcoming new atmosphere.

The pub is hoping to become the place to ‘kick start the weekend,’ building a reputation for its Friday music nights which will feature local music and karaoke acts. A tasty new bar snacks menu offering pizzas, chips and a tasty range of signature ‘basket’ dishes is due to be rolled out towards Christmas. Their darts team and their regular quiz nights will also ensure there is plenty going on at the Falcon Inn to keep the locals entertained.

Commentating on the launch, licensee Gina Corani said:

“Having lived in the area for 22 years I was thrilled to have the chance to take on The Falcon Inn. Over the past year we have worked hard to create a family friendly community pub and the refurb is just the lift we need to ensure our locals keep coming back for more and hopefully bring some new faces too. We have lots of exciting plans for the pub with our new bar snacks menu and plans to refurbish our lovely garden next year too – The Falcon Inn is the place to be in Felixstowe so make sure you come and pay us a visit.”

Commentating on the Falcon Inn, Business Development Manager at Admiral Taverns, Jean-Paul Russek said:
