A central Southampton pub will reopen this week after an impressive transformation. The Angel Inn, on Palmerston Road, Southampton will open its doors on Thursday 20th July 2017, under the ownership of new licensee, Wendy Teague.
Leading community pub company, Admiral Taverns has invested in a complete internal and external refurbishment, creating an inviting, warm and friendly welcome to all.
The pub has been redesigned with a ‘sports bar feel,’ with new plasma sports screens to view the best sporting action from around the globe. It isn’t just the sport which makes the place special, the pub has also developed its food offer and now has a delicious selection of light bites. These include burgers, chicken baskets and pizzas to complement a broad quality drinks range which includes a fun classic cocktail menu.
In addition, strong WiFi, a coffee offer, pool tables and regular live entertainment top off what is a very attractive and fun pub for all the local community.
Commenting on the opening, Wendy Teague, new Licensee of The Angel said: “What a transformation and I can’t wait to open the doors on Thursday. I have always loved the pub and the people in it. Along with my daughters, we have worked hard pulling the new offer together and had plenty of fun learning to make the classic cocktails on the new drinks menu. We are so excited about the new food menu, the new drinks menu and the whopping TV’s and can’t wait to welcome the regulars back as well as the students up the road and sports fans alike.
We will be celebrating on opening night with a guest DJ and samples from the delicious new food menu. I’m looking forward to getting the huge TV screens fired up for Southampton FC’s games later in the summer and throughout the season.”
