Parkers is in a great location, just a 2 minute walk from the MKM stadium. On match days, the pub benefits from high footfall and during the week the pub becomes a popular community venue. Located on a prominent corner position on Anlaby Road this is a busy area of Hull with plenty of shops, amenities and houses nearby, the pub is just two miles from the town centre of Hull.

Pub Layout

After undergoing refurbishment the pub has been revitalized in every aspect of the space, ensuring that it retains its charm while seamlessly incorporating modern design elements. Carefully balancing the space so it feels vibrant and inviting, making it a great community pub. It has various seating options with both loose and fixed, creating distinct areas within the space. The left hand side of the pub is home to a pool table and state of the art darts board which are well used by the locals . The bar is prominent and services all areas with a varied product range featuring a great selection of category leading products. Externally the outside space has been transformed into a fantastic beer garden completed with new tables and can easily host 80 – 100 people all of whom can enjoy the perks of the additional outdoor bar.

Parkers is a community focused wet led pub, it is bustling on match days and will also show televised sports throughout the week on the well place TV screens. The invested external seating to the rear of the pub has created a real a safe and welcoming space for all its customers which can easily hold 80 people the welcomed addition of the small outside bar provides ease of service on match days & during those summer months. The new operator will need to provide a sound base of sports teams and traditional bar games including; football, darts and quizzes, there needs to be a vibrant entertainment programme to ensure the pub caters for all its customers while consistently focusing on community engagement and providing a warm and inviting space, the pub can indeed become the hub of the community.

The private accommodation consists of a lounge, office, kitchen, bathroom and three bedrooms all of which underwent investment and is a great sanctuary for a family or couple to call home.

This opportunity is for you to run your pub as a self-employed manager. Admiral Taverns take care of all the running costs including rates, utilities, stock and day to day running costs whilst you take home 18.5% of the net weekly sales, all employment costs relating to your staff and any council tax and TV licence for the residential quarters.

The Business Development Manager Martin Wood is seeking an needs a experienced community & sports focused operator , experience in running a similar venue would be advantageous as applicants must have the right organisational skills to maximise sales before and after games and ensure customers are always kept in a safe environment. You will need to balance the retail offer with regular events such as quiz nights, karaoke and the occasional live band. The ideal applicant will be able to demonstrate a good understanding of the local marketplace as well as being community focused with a good knowledge of sports.
