Martin Wood, Business Development Manger is seeking an experienced community and sports focused operator, experience in running a similar venue would be advantageous as applicants must have the right organisational skills to maximise sales before and after games and ensure customers are always kept in a safe environment. Away from match days, the pub is a traditional community pub with regular events such as quiz nights, karaoke and the occasional live band. The ideal applicant(s) will be able to demonstrate a good understanding of the local marketplace as well as be community-focused with a good knowledge of sports.
Parkers has seen significant investment both inside and out during 2023, transforming it into a standout venue that truly rises above the competition. Situated in a prime location just a two-minute walk from the MKM Stadium, it’s perfectly placed to attract mix of customers. On match days, the pub benefits from high footfall and during the week the pub becomes a popular community venue. Located on a prominent corner position on Anlaby Road this is a busy area of Hull with plenty of shops, amenities and houses nearby.

The Parkers has been revitalised in every aspect of the space, ensuring that it retains its charm while seamlessly incorporating modern design elements. Carefully balancing the space so it feels vibrant and inviting, making it a great community pub. It has various seating options with both loose and fixed, creating distinct areas within the space. The left hand side of the pub is home to a pool table and state of the art darts board which are well used by the locals . The bar is prominent and services all areas with a varied product range featuring a great selection of category leading products. Externally the outside space has been transformed into a fantastic beer garden completed with new tables and can easily host 80 – 100 people all of whom can enjoy the perks of the additional outdoor bar.

This opportunity is for you to run your own pub as a self-employed manager taking home 18.5% of the net weekly sales plus incentives. Admiral Taverns take care of all the running costs including rates, utilities, stock and day to day running costs, whilst you take care of the employment costs relating to your staff, council tax and TV licence for the residential quarters.
All new operators have comprehensive free training as part of their agreement.
