Mark Knibbs the Business Development Manager is seeking an applicant who has a good a understanding of the local marketplace as well as being community focused with a good knowledge of Sports. Experience in running a similar venue would be advantageous and applicants must have the right sales focused ideas to maximise sales before and after games; whilst ensuring customers are served in a safe environment. You will need to plan and execute weekly entertainment such as quizzes, bingo and make use of the karaoke wall installed this year, giving access to all day everyday Karaoke, a good and confident host would be advantageous. The Jolly Crofter is small but has a mighty reputation and a fantastic following by Stockport County Fans and is the home fans only pub on matchdays and needs an experienced community and sports operator obsessed operator.
The Jolly Crofter has recently been invested in which included full external and internal decoration. The pub has excellent transport links with Stockport Railway Station a very short walk away and sits on the high street with good bus and taxi links. Edgeley high street has as well as competitor pubs a wide range of take aways and eateries and smaller local bespoke shops.
