The Bush Inn has undergone a full transformational refurbishment with both internal and external decoration. The Bush Inn is located on the main high street of Aberdare town centre. Aberdare is an old mining town in the Cynon valley of Rhondda Cyon Taf. Located four miles south west of Merthyr Tydfil and 20 miles north of Cardiff, the pub is nestled in the high street surrounded by local shops and amenities. The pub is located near the bus station which has good links to all the surrounding towns.

Pub Layout

On entering from the high street you are greeted with brand a new Proper Pub, the pub will be revitalized, ensuring that it retains its charm while seamlessly incorporating modern design elements and carefully balancing the space so it feels vibrant and inviting, making it a great community pub. It has various seating options with both loose and fixed, creating distinct areas within the space. The bar is prominent and services all areas with a great value product range catering for all. The carefully positioned pool table and darts board to the rear of the pub makes a great space for the customers to enjoy as well as the sports teams.

There needs to be a drive to ensure the community is welcomed and supported with a diverse offer which should ensure a vibrant and consistent entertainment programme including DJ’s, Live bands and karaoke. The pub comes alive at the weekends with a large local following enjoying all the pub has to offer. You will need to cater for all age groups with a good entertainment focus and a strong rhythm of the week.  There will be an established product range with promotions and good value products in place. The new darts board and pool table will provide a sound base of sports teams and will be a welcomed boost to the mid week clientele.

The private accommodation consists of three bedrooms, bathroom, kitchen and sitting room all of which will have benefited from redecoration including a new bathroom and kitchen.

This opportunity is for you to run your pub as a self-employed manager. Admiral Taverns take care of all the running costs including rates, utilities, stock and day to day running costs whilst you take home 18.5% of the net weekly sales, all employment costs relating to your staff and any council tax and TV licence for the residential quarters.

All new operators have comprehensive free training as part of their agreement.

Alison Davidson the Business Development Manager is looking for a passionate and driven individual or couple who have excellent retail standards who can make the Bush Inn stand out in the bustling town centre. Local knowledge would be advantageous for a pub of this location and you will also have the skill set to plan and deliver a busy and diverse rhythm of the week.
