The Castle is a semi-detached 1960’s pub in a prominent & bustling location on Dudley High Street surrounded by local shops and amenities. Dudley is a large market town in the West Midlands of England, six miles south of Wolverhampton and eight miles north of Birmingham. We have invested £240,000 in this great pub with full internal decoration and new signage. 

Pub Layout

After undergoing refurbishment it has revitalized every aspect of the space, ensuring that it retains its charm while seamlessly incorporating modern design elements. This carefully balance space that feels vibrant and inviting, making it a great community pub. It has various seating options with both loose and fixed creating distinct areas within the space. The bar is prominent and services all areas. It is well stocked with a great product range catering for all.

The Castle is a wet led community focused pub which has potential to develop its existing trade by becoming a real ‘hub of the community.’ It has a great entertainment programme with live music being popular with the locals. Existing activities provide a sound base of sports teams and traditional bar games including; football, darts, quizzes and pool. The private accommodation is located on the first floor and consists of three bedrooms, lounge, kitchen and bathroom and is the perfect size for a family.

This opportunity is for you to run your pub as a self-employed manager. Admiral Taverns take care of all the running costs including rates, utilities, stock and day to day running costs whilst you take home 18.5% of the net weekly sales, all employment costs relating to your staff and any council tax and TV licence for the residential quarters.

All new operators have comprehensive free training as part of their agreement.

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced community driven operator . The new operator should implement a great rhythm of the week that ideally should include SKY sports and regular live music events along with pool teams coupled with other games/activities such a quiz nights and bingo. The ideal applicant will be able to demonstrate a good understanding of the local marketplace as well as being community focused and have previous knowledge in running a similar pub.
