The Three Horseshoes is located in the attractive Staffordshire village of Barton Under Needwood which is located six miles from Burton Upon Trent and close to Barton Marina. The building itself is said to date back to the 16th Century and hold a prominent position in the village. Conveniently located just two miles from the A38, providing easy access to the M1 and A50 roads. Nearby lies St George’s Park, the prestigious home of English football. Within a short walking distance is the main high street which houses a number of cafe’s, shops and restaurants.
Pub Layout
Entry into the pub is either to the front or the rear via the car park. The pub has two distinct trading areas; to the front of the pub is more of a snug area with a bar, it has original features such as the wooden beams and exposed brick. To the rear is a larger area with a bar which is utilised both for dining and drinking with an attractive fireplace setting. Externally there is a separate entrance to the three very well appointed and attractive ensuite letting rooms. To the rear of the pub is a car park for 15 cars and an attractive courtyard drinking area.
The Three Horseshoes has three well utilised ensuite letting rooms providing a steady income stream alongside strong wet and dry sales. Known for good food, cask ales, occasional entertainment and being a hub for the community. Tie: All drinks categories are tied. For fully funded licensees on long term agreements, we offer free-of-tie options for certain drinks categories in exchange for an annual fee.

Annual Rent – This is our lowest rent figure associated with a Full Tie. If the tie is reduced the effective rent (via Tie Release Fees) will increase. Rent is billed and paid for weekly in advance depending on the payment terms agreed). On occasion, our Business Development Manager will discuss a start up rent which is discretionary to an individual pub and can be discussed.
Security Deposit – A security deposit is required when applying for a pub with Admiral. This will be the greater of £5,000 or three months’ headline rent. The deposit is held on your account and returned when you leave, subject to your final account balance and the condition of the property. We will also carry out a credit check as part of your application, which may affect the deposit amount required.
Working Capital – This is a recommend amount required which will be used in the day-to-day running of the business.
Stock – This will be valued by an independent valuer on the day you take over the pub. This includes unbranded glassware, unopened bottles, wines, spirits, any unopened / opened kegs and cask ale providing the container is unopened.
Fixtures & Fittings – This includes any item that is bolted to the floor or walls, and a fitting to be any item that is free standing or hung by a nail or hook. This will also include furniture.

Training – £350.00 – Before signing a long term agreement, you will be required to attend our 7 Steps to Sales Success training programme. Held online over two days, you will learn marketing and business strategies that will help you to grow sales in your pub – step-by-step.
Service Charge Cost – £63.33 per week – The Admiral Taverns Premium Maintenance Package will help take care of your compliance and statutory obligations with one simple fee, whilst giving you piece of mind about your boiler and cellar cooling repair and replacement. This also includes full access to e-learning for you and your staff.
