Description

The Steeplechase is currently seeking an experienced operator, following a significant recent investment in the business. This opportunity arises purely due to a change in personal circumstances for the current operator.  The pub is prominently situated in the heart of the town centre, benefitting from excellent visibility and strong natural footfall. It sits among a mix of independent retailers, cafés, restaurants and established pubs, creating a lively daytime and evening trading environment.  The town itself is a traditional market town, retaining a strong sense of community and heritage. Regular market days take place twice weekly on Wednesdays and Saturdays, drawing consistent crowds into the centre and adding to the atmosphere and trading potential. A major draw for the town is its renowned racecourse, located close by and hosting approximately 30 race meetings each year. These events generate substantial visitor numbers, with racegoers using the town centre before and after meetings, providing excellent opportunities for increased business. This opportunity is for you to run your pub as a self-employed manager. Admiral Taverns take care of all the running costs including rates, utilities, stock, public liability and day to day running costs whilst you take home 18.5% of the net weekly sales, all employment costs relating to your staff and any council tax and TV licence for the residential quarters.
