We need someone who has the the ambition and skills to take this established pub to the next level whilst providing a consistent service with great standards and the ability to run an efficient and well maintained business. It goes without saying the new operator will put the community at the heart of everything that goes on and will strive to continue to make the Golden Knight the community hub in the local area. To succeed the new operator must have a passion and energy for promotion and hosting events to suit all occasions to meet the local community needs.

We’re delighted to announce the Golden Knight is joining the Proper Pubs family. We are investing around £290,000 into what is already a great community local. The pub is situated within community neighbourhood within the ward of Huntingdon East in the district of Huntingdonshire in the East of England region. The pub is surrounded by chimney pots with a well supporting local community. It has good local amenities and a nearby primary and secondary school, convenience stores, and large green open space (Sapley Playing Fields) with sports pitches and play area. The pub will undergo a full transformation with both internal and external decoration bringing this well loved pub a fresh appeal.

This opportunity is for you to run your pub as a self-employed manager. Admiral Taverns take care of all the running costs including rates, utilities, stock, public liability and day to day running costs whilst you take home 18.5% of the net weekly sales, all employment costs relating to your staff and any council tax and TV licence for the residential quarters.
