The Boars Head is in a fantastic location a short distance drive from the following local shops and town centre of St Helens with excellent public transport links. St Helens is just six miles North of the River Mersey. The pub is in a great location on a busy through road with near by amenities and numerous residential properties many of which support their local.

Pub Layout

This pub has a very traditional feel with comfort and amenities in mind for the local community it serves. The bar is central to the pub with a very traditional vault bar and lounge bar set up with both serving sports viewing areas for mainly football and rugby league as well other sports on request. Away from the main bar there are pool table and dart board facilities serving local teams. To the rear there is a spectacular beer garden which increases the pubs capacity in finer weather and is a real sun trap. This is home to a decked area, complete with a TV screen and is used for external community events and entertainment.  There are also benches to the front of the pub which capture the evening sun. The pub holds internal covers of 100 seated and external covers of around 50.

This opportunity is for you to run your pub as a self-employed manager. Admiral Taverns take care of all the running costs including rates, utilities, stock and day to day running costs whilst you take home 18.5% of the net weekly sales, all employment costs relating to your staff and any council tax and TV licence for the residential quarters.

Mark Cleverly the Business Development Manager is seeking an operator that is passionate and driven about all things hospitality they will need to provide a sound base for sports teams and traditional bar games including football, pool, darts dominoes and quizzes and bingo along with a vibrant and varied entertainment program at weekends. It goes without saying the new operator will put the community at the heart of everything that goes on and will strive to continue to make the Boars Head the community hub in the local area.  To succeed the new operator must have a passion and energy for promotion and hosting events to suit all occasions to meet the local community needs.
