Code Compliance Officer Announcement:
We’re pleased to confirm that Andy Clifford, our Property and Strategy Director, will also be taking on the role of Admiral’s nominated Code Compliance Officer (CCO) from 21st October 2019. Drawing on a career of over 22 years in the leased and tenanted pubs sector and in-depth understanding of the Statutory Pubs Code (“the Code”), Andy takes over from the Group’s former CCO, Mark Brown.
With a nationwide estate of over 900 pubs, Admiral Taverns and its licensees are covered by the regulations laid out in the Pubs Code which came into force on 21st July 2016. The Code is based upon the core principles of fair and lawful dealing between the pub company and the licensee. Our Code Compliance Officer oversees our compliance with the Pubs Code and prepares an Annual Compliance Report which can be viewed here.
