The White Horse is joining the Proper Pubs family , following a £240,000 investment which will include a full internal investment.
The pub will be a shining example of a community focused pub, located in the village of Bridgemary in North Gosport, located adjacent to the A32 to Fareham. The pub is located at the heart of a large community estate located in front of Holbrook Primary and Bridgemary School. Along with the dense surrounding housing there is a small parade of shops across the road offering local facilities such as convenience store, fruit & veg shop, pharmacy and various takeaway food outlets.
The large internal trade space includes an open plan area, dominated by the u-shaped main bar servery. There is a games area to the rear of this room, with pool table and gaming machines. To the left of the main entrance, there is a function room, served by a second bar servery (which flows round for staff making ease of service) , it has its own access to the fantastic paved beer garden, the area also benefits from its own toilets & a separate entrance, this is a great space and as huge potential to increase the revenue it should be utilised for not only private functions but could be a great space for local groups to meet throughout the day. The White Horse is a 2-bar wet-led, community pub located in the heart of a large estate located in front of Holbrook Primary and Bridgemary schools. Live sports will be shown on high quality TVs in the trade areas with both Sky and TNT being provided. The pub will need to hosts pool and darts teams during the week to make use of the new pool table and high spec darts boards. Exploring partnerships with local sports teams, schools, or businesses to expand your reach and strengthen community ties should be utilised.
Live music should feature in the the vibrant and exciting rhythm of the week with , DJ’s , bands & karaoke proving popular with the locals. By combining these elements, you can create a dynamic and welcoming environment at The White Horse, making it a go-to spot for the local community and beyond
The domestic accommodation consists of thee bedrooms, kitchen, lounge/diner and private bathroom. All in good condition throughout
Security deposit – £2,000
As part of our unique agreement, you’ll have the opportunity to manage the White Horse as a self-employed manager. Admiral Taverns takes care of essential running costs, such as rates, utilities, and day-to-day expenses, while you earn a percentage of weekly sales. Your responsibility lies in managing employment costs for your staff and any council tax for the residential quarters. This setup empowers you to increase your income through sales growth, while we handle the operational details.
No rent applicable on this agreement.
