The town is located in the historic county of Perthshire on the main A84 with direct links to the M9 making this a popular tourist stop to and from the Highlands allowing this to capitalise on the high seasonal footfall in the town.

Pub Layout

You can enter the Riverside Inn from both the front and back of the site, which will lead you into the open plan operation. The single bar operation has little snug areas off from the main bar area and with the mixture of low level benched and loose seating, complimented by poser tables and high stools provides the perfect social setting and atmosphere. The commercial kitchen is located at the end of the building with access to all areas of the pub. The front and back of the building has the benefit of external seating areas with the rear terrace more popular as it overlooks the river and gives direct access to the main car park for visitors to the town. This provides great visibility for visiting tourists and locals alike. The Riverside Inn is beautifully decorated internally following major investment to create a more contemporary feel.

The Riverside Inn is a destination food site due to its location around the Loch Lomond and Trossachs National park. The pub is predominately food led offering a fantastic traditional pub fayre menu but has a core of loyal locals who support all year round increasing the split on wet/dry, currently at 20/80%. This site. again due to location is seasonal with a peak in trade during the summer months and then depends on local trade throughout the winter months. The Riverside manages this exceptionally well using its strengths in food, entertainment and exceptional circumstances.
