The centre of Birkenhead is just a 15 minute walk away, with the pub located just off the main A552 into Birkenhead. Liverpool city centre is only four miles away and the Birkenhead tunnel connects the two. The population of the area is approximately 85,000.

Trading style

The Warwick benefited from an internal and external refurbishment in 2016 and has the potential to become a popular community pub. The pub offers traditional pub games and entertainment including karaoke and live bands. Admiral Taverns are looking for an experienced licensee with good local connections who can take the pub to the next level and take on the challenges that the local community will bring with them in the form of teams, social groups and general customer liason. There is the potential to offer a basic snack menu to provide additional income to the business.

Trade accommodation

The outlet trades from one central bar that runs the length of the pub with a tap room with a pool table, darts okke and flat screen TV. The recently refurbished lounge area is located on the right hand side of the pub and has ample space to accommodate live entertainment. From the lounge area, there are doors that lead onto an enclosed paved drinking area that features bench seating and a small smoking area. The improvements to the lounge and the new exterior decoration and signage have given this pub a more modern feel. There is off street parking surrounding the pub. Although there is no kitchen, there is an opportunity to introduce a small back bar food offer including sandwiches, pies and paninis. Admiral Taverns can offer the support to enable the licensee to introduce food through our catering executive and offer the training to support this.
