Trading style

The Master Gunner is a traditional community pub providing an excellent service to the local area. The pub is home to darts, pool and skittle teams and this could be developed by introducing a football and rugby team. Entertainment is also popular with karaoke and live bands and could be enhanced further with poker nights and quiz nights etc. Food is currently on offer however this is a basic offer and could be developed further with the support of Admiral Taverns catering team. We are looking for applicants who are willing to work with the community and have the vision and passion to drive this business forward. Admiral Taverns offer a range of support under the 'Business Support Agreement' which is particularly advantageous for those who are new to the industry. This agreement will run for a set period of six months, providing the licensee with bespoke training programmes, access to business insights from a range of industry experts, and an unrivalled portfolio of products and equipment.

The outlet trades from an open plan trading area with a central bar servery. To the right side of the pub you will find a sports area with a pool table and darts okke, access to the ladies and gents toilets is also situated here. To the left side is a lounge with plenty of seating. The equipped catering kitchen is located to the rear of the pub and can be accessed from the bar servery. There is a large function room on the first floor that can cater for up to 100 people and has its own bar servery and ladies and gents toilets. There is also a second function room in the basement that also has its own bar servery and toilets and can seat up to 80 people. At the rear of the outlet is a large car park for up to 30 cars. To the front of the pub is a patio area with benches for those wishing to have a drink outside in the summer months as well as a purpose built smoking solution.
