We prefer to let you get on with running your own pub, whilst knowing you can count on us for as much (or as little) support as you need. Our team are truly passionate about community pubs and we do our upmost to support our licenses to run sustainable, profitable businesses.
COMMERCIAL & MARKETING SUPPORT
We value the unique nature of each of our pubs and our flexible approach to providing commercial support reflects this. We have an excellent platform with broad ranges of drinks and food suppliers available and regularly offer our licensees promotions across the national brands we work with.
Our My Pub Support website offers an exclusive online area where licensees can purchase just about everything and anything they need for their pub; from glasses; catering equipment and gardenware. Everything is priced at the rates we purchase at, ensuring our licensees can benefit from our group buying power.
Food now forms a very important part of the customer offer in pubs and the Admiral Food Team are dedicated to helping licensees unlock their pub’s food potential. Our team assist licensees at all ends of the spectrum of capabilities, from pubs looking to introduce a food offering to food- led destination sites seeking new ways to improve their offer and profitability. They can also assist with the sourcing of food, menu compilation and design and the latest environmental health and regulatory compliance issues.
Licensing and legal matters can be daunting for many people. We take the fear and expense of complying with licensing requirements away by offering the services of our in-house Licensing Team. They will handle all licensing applications or enquiries for our licensees, completely free of charge. We want our licensees to have every opportunity possible to maximise their business and our licensing team work relentlessly to make that happen. Very often our team can resolve the majority of issues for our licensees, though if a problem escalates our in-house solicitor is on hand to help offer further support.
PROPERTY HELP DESK
The in-house Admiral Property Helpdesk is dedicated to offering a flexible and common-sense approach to assisting our licensees in maintaining Admiral pubs. Working with professional consultants and our established contractor network, we take a personal approach in ensuring our pubs are a safe environment for our licensees and their customers and our repair obligations are maintained.
Our in-house team of surveyors work in tandem with the property help desk to organise and manage contractors, ensuring we offer the best possible service to our licensees with the minimum disruption to their trade.
We are ambitious for our licensees and their pubs and through our proactive programme we are continually investing in our estate, supporting our licensees to develop their pub business.
We have overseen some impressive transformational projects across a number of our pubs, but we also understand the importance of small projects. A new beer garden or exterior signage can make a real difference to your pub, its customer offer and trading.
Any work on your pub, big or small, can be daunting. Our team are highly experienced at project managing developments from start to finish. Our in house team of surveyors work in partnership with you and your BDM to plan any improvement and refurbishment schemes. Once a viable scheme is agreed and approved, the team will seek your involvement and input. They will keep you informed throughout the process from the project’s inception through to its completion. Any works will be undertaken by a proven network of building contractors and design teams to ensure that projects are delivered on time, within budget and to a high quality.
Machines can provide a valuable source of entertainment not to mention income. The vastly experienced machine management team form good working relationships between Admiral Taverns, licensees and suppliers, ensuring all suppliers are vetted, are compliant and work to stringent KPIs to ensure our licensees receive the best service and support to maximise their income and keep customers happy.
All suppliers can provide Digital AWP and we are encouraging the drive of these across our estate as they can give the best return – not only to the players but also to the licensees. The suppliers will ensure all collections are carried out securely and properly and are able to assist with registering for MGD (Machines Games Duty) and declaring the same. We have suppliers of most types of Machines – whether it be AWP (fruit machine), SWP (quiz machine), Jukebox and Pool Table.
