The Crown Inn (Yoxhall)

Yoxhall, DE13 8NQ

Please leave your details and our team will be in touch. * fields are required

Recently refurbished to a very good standard, The Crown is a prominent detached building featuring an exterior grassed area and car park that is well sited on the main thoroughfare. Yoxall is an aspirational rural style village between Burton on Trent and Litchfield and is only a short drive to the M42 & M6. Housing in the area is a mix of properties ranging through semi & detached houses to properties of significant size. Local amenities consist of schools, church, recreational fields and Yoxhall Rangers Football Club along with local business’ and shops.

Pub Layout

The Crown has a long narrow public bar which is partitioned into two areas, with steps in between. The smart lounge has a beamed ceiling and is also partitioned.  There is a raised bar/lounge with an open fire which is well appointed with new fixtures and fittings and a lounge/dining area with featured log burner style fire and recently new dining style furniture. There is a fully functioning catering kitchen. By the main entrance is a small conservatory and to the outside is a small grassed area which is fenced therefore child friendly. Externally there is a car park housing approximately ten cars.

The pub trades as 50% wet and 50% food with some entertainment and traditional pub activities, however there’s a great opportunity to further develop the food business as the kitchen is a good size and there is a separate food storage with walk in freezer in an out building. The pub currently opens to the public at lunchtimes, evenings midweek and all day Saturday/Sunday so again scope to expand the midweek trading hours to develop and increase income into this business. There is an excellent range of keg beers, lagers & ciders and an established cask ale following with further opportunity to extend the range to develop a premium spirit offer.

Private Accommodation

The private accommodation consists of three bedrooms, along with a lounge, bathroom, kitchen, dining room, office and utility room.
