The Saltersgill is prominently located on a main junction in the suburban area of Easterside approximately two miles from Middlesbrough town centre. The pub benefits from being located withing an estate, surrounded by residential properties (a mixture of private semi/terraced properties with some social housing) along with neighbouring local retail shops and food outlets opposite.

Pub Layout

The Saltersgill is a large, two room operation providing something for everyone throughout the local community. The pub is wet led throughout the week and has a mixture of fixed and loose seating along with a pool table and darts board. There is also a separate bar and lounge/function room which trades mid week for pool nights and weekends for dining. This room houses two pool tables, up to 40 covers for diners along with a DJ booth and small dance floor.

The pub trades as a wet led business with food served at weekends and for functions, there is an approximately 80/20 split wet/food.  The Saltersgill caters for the local community by hosting functions/birthdays/ events along with supporting the games teams, showing live TV sports and weekend diners.
