Jolly Millers

Cambridge, CB24 8SD

Please leave your details and our team will be in touch. * fields are required

The Jolly Millers is a traditional brick building situated on the main High Street in the small but affluent village of Cottenham. Cottenham is home to local shops and a village school. The village is approximately seven miles from Cambridge and 12 miles from Ely and has a population of approx 5,600.

Pub Layout

The pub is open plan with an ‘L’ shaped bar. To the right-hand side of the bar is a pool area and to the left is the main bar with tables, chairs and bar stools for eating and drinking. Ladies and gents toilets are located to the back of the pub and access to the garden area is also also to the rear. Externally there is a patio area leading onto a very large garden which includes a small lake and a protected mulberry tree. The pub is well kept and has recently been decorated to a good standard. There isn’t any car parking however, there is ample off road parking.

The Jolly Millers is a community local with massive scope for development. The pub has a small core of regulars and provides entertainment in the form of; quizzes, acoustic bands and family events. Cask ale is popular in the Jolly Millers with up to four ales on at any one time. The food offering has been limited in the past, there is a need to grow this.

Private Accommodation

The private accommodation is of a good size and is in good decorative order. It consists of three bedrooms, lounge, kitchen and bathroom.

I am looking for a passionate and driven couple or individual to unlock the opportunities that the Jolly Millers has to offer. Catering experience would be beneficial along with excellent retail standards. The relaunch of a traditional, locally sourced menu would attract further footfall whilst improving the weekly entertainment programme would appeal to a wider market. You will need to embrace the local community and play an active part in putting the Jolly Millers back on the map.

Opening times: Monday to Thursday 12:00pm until 11:30pm, Friday and Saturday 12:00pm until 12:00am and Sunday 12:00pm until 11:30pm
