The Brunel is a detached pub located in the Anfield area of Liverpool, approximately a mile from the city centre. The pub benefits from being situated in a residential area and is within easy walking distance of shops and amenities. Liverpool and Everton Football Clubs are only a 15 minute walk away from the pub and the car park is used on match days as a meeting point before heading off to the match.

Pub Layout

The pub trades from an L shaped single bar servery which, on entering the pub, is located to the left side of the lounge. Behind the bar and only accessible from this area is an equipped catering kitchen and an office. The lounge area benefits from having comfortable seating throughout which is in excellent condition. Located to the far left side of the pub, is a dedicated pool and darts area which is extremely popular with locals. The ladies and gents toilets are located in the lounge to the rear. Also at the rear of the property, there is access leading onto the enclosed beer garden and smoking shelter. Externally, to the front of the pub there is a large car park surrounding the property for up to 15 cars.

We are looking for an enthusiastic licensee who will look to build on the solid foundations laid down by the previous landlords. The new licensee should have a good local knowledge of the area and understand the needs of the customers. The licensee would ideally get involved with building sports teams and community groups as well as being able to promote a good entertainment program which will appeal to old and new customers. There is also an opportunity to introduce a food offer utilizing the catering kitchen offering traditional meals at reasonable prices.

The private accommodation is located on the first floor and consists of three bedrooms, lounge, kitchen and bathroom which are all in good decorative order.

For fully funded licensees on long term agreements, we offer free-of-tie options for certain drinks categories in exchange for an annual fee.
