Trading style

The Unicorn is a community local which has darts and pool teams and regular weekend entertainment such as karaoke and singers. Trade is made up purely of drinks sales at present but there is an opportunity to develop the lounge trade by introducing a small bar menu with snacks including pies and paninis. This pub is available immediately and is an ideal starter pub. However, licenced trade or bar work would be a benefit. Admiral Taverns are seeking a licensee to make this pub the most popular local community pub in Oswestry.

Trade accommodation

This pub benefits from having two entrances. The front entrance off the main road leads you to the main bar and the other entrance is from the car park at the side of the premises which leads into the lounge bar. The main bar consists of seating for on average 40 people. The lounge area can seat up to 30 and has both a pool table and a darts board. Both have fixed and loose furniture throughout which is all in reasonable condition. Ladies and gents toilets are located between the bar and lounge. There is no catering kitchen but there is a small prep area for a back bar offer. Externally there is a smoking solution which is accessed via the lounge and leads onto the car park which can hold on average 15 cars.
