Robin Details

Trading style

The Robin trades very much as a wet led pub with the majority of the trade coming from early evening weekday trade and weekend evening trade. The pub is open from 3pm Monday to Friday and from 12pm on the weekends. Historically the pub has done a simple food offer but there is no food trade at present. With a good sized catering kitchen there is a definite opportunity to introduce some sort of simple food offer. BT Sports is utilised but no Sky currently. There is both pool table and darts board but no teams currently, although there is a dominoes team. Weekly entertainment is hosted in the form of a disco and karaoke. The pub is a friendly community pub that exists for the locals and as such any successful applicant would need to engage with the community.

Trade accommodation

A front porch splits two trading areas which are divided by a central servery. On the right hand side is the lounge with loose tables and chairs separated by a central pillar. There are two large TVs positioned on the wall opposite the bar servery and a door in the corner that leads out to a back hall way. This rear passageway links the two trade areas and also has doors to the toilets, equipped trade kitchen and terrace. The left hand trade area is more of a bar with both pool table and darts board. The trade kitchen is of good size but currently being under utilised. There is an enclosed patio terrace to the right of the pub with traditional pub benches. There is no carpark on site but plenty road parking nearby.
