The Pineapple Inn is prominently situated on a busy cross road in Astley Bridge and is an end of terrace building on a row of shops in a highly populated area and surrounded by housing. Astley Bridge itself is a suburb of Bolton, Greater Manchester. It is approximately two miles from the town centre and has a population of approximately 14,000.

Trading style

The Pineapple has previously had strong links with Bolton Football Club. The recent investment by Admiral Taverns has promoted the pub as a ‘sports bar’ with entertainment. Whilst looking to further develop the sports offer we are looking for a new licensee to develop the entertainment along with a value for food menu. The pub offers a safe, friendly environment with quality ales and potential to introduce cask ales. The new licensee will have strong personal skills and who are keen to build links within the local community. The successful applicant needs to be enthusiastic and driven. Ideally, the applicant will have some catering and cask ale experience but it is not essential.

Trade accommodation

The Pineapple was subject to a major investment in 2016 and is in very good condition throughout. On entering the pub, you are faced with the bar servery with a sports area to the left side which has a pool table and darts area. To the right there is a small lounge area for up to 20 covers. The ladies and gents toilets are located to the right side of the bar with the catering kitchen located to the left side of the pub. To the left is also an exit leading onto a small patio yard that includes some benches for outside drinking. Although there is no car park, there is street parking close by.

The living accommodation is extensive and comprises of a lounge, office, three bedrooms, kitchen and bathroom/toilet. The accommodation is in good condition.
