Trading style

The New Inn has an excellent reputation for food and is a real village local with cask ales, roaring fires and regular trade. In the summer months the site benefits from walkers with 22 miles of footpaths around Shrawley. I am looking for an experienced operator with a successful track record in combining a drinks & food offer is required for this excellent opportunity to run a village local. It is essential that locals as well as visitors to the area are catered for. There is potential for live music and the new licensee could develop more entertainment as well as quiz nights and mid-week events.

Trade accommodation

This lovely village pub was sensitively refurbished in 2016 and trades from two separate trading areas; a lounge, which has a cozy ambiance thanks to the open fire, and a dining area with approximately 35 covers. These areas are serviced by a central bar servery. The fixtures and fittings are within keeping of the pub, with a mixture of fixed and loose seating together with areas suitable for drinkers or people wishing to stand. There is a fully fitted catering kitchen just off the trade area. Externally, at the rear of the outlet is a fully enclosed and very private beer garden which also has a small patio area which is ideal for families with children or for those who love to sit outside on summer evenings. There is also a large car park to the rear which can cater for up to 24 cars. There is space to introduce a children’s play area or pet farm.

The private accommodation consists of three bedrooms, lounge and domestic bathroom all recently refurbished. There is no private kitchen.
