Half Moon Details

Trading style

The Half Moon is popular with locals and has a good cask ale following. Although there is no food at present there is great potential to introduce a bar snack offer. The pub has a pool team and is very popular with darts. Sport plays a big part in drawing trade into the Half Moon with Sky TV in place the locals can enjoy major football and rugby games. Admiral Taverns are looking for a licensee that is community minded who can embrace the current trade and build on it by attracting new customers and utilising the good sized kitchen by introducing food. Cask ale will also play a big part in this site and passion for cask conditioned ale would be of huge benefit.

Trade accommodation

The pub has two main entrances off the high street which both lead into one large trading area. This area is sectioned off into zones with the bar taking prominence and then the pool area off to the side. The toilets are located to the rear of the pub. There is a good sized kitchen that isn't currently being used so a great opportunity here to introduce food. The condition of the pub and its fixtures and fittings is in good order and the pub . Externally, there is a small patio area at the back of the pub which is currently used as a smoking area. The pub does not have its own car park but with street parking nearby this is not a major problem.
