The Foredyke is a detached pub located in North Point Shopping Centre in Bransholme. Bransholme is an area and a housing estate on the north side of Kingston upon Hull, England. The largely council owned estate is located in between Sutton-on-Hull to the east, Sutton Park to the south, and the new East Hull suburb of Kingswood to the west. It is surrounded by fields and 'A' Roads which largely isolate it from the rest of East Hull.

Trading style

The Foredyke trades as a community pub serving to the locals of Bransholme and is surrounded by many houses and local shops and amenities. The pub is open from lunch time and has a regular day time trade through to evenings. There is the potential to become part of the community by introducing sports teams such as pool and darts, offer live sports drawing in the avid sports fans and introduce an entertainment offer. There is a partially equipped catering kitchen that would need some development to offer a basic value for food offer throughout the day and through to early evenings. Admiral Taverns are looking for applicants who are familiar with the area and pub. They will be very ‘hands on’ in the day to day running of the business.

Trade accommodation

On entering through the main door, you enter the bar which is us the main drinking area. The bar servery is located to the right side and to the far left hand side is a pool and darts area Surrounded the bar and sports area is fixed and loose seating for up to 50 covers. Located by the bar servery is a corridor where the ladies and gents toilets are based with this corridor also leading into a lounge / function room which is unused at present however this could be easily marketed to cater for birthdays, christenings and funerals as it is separate to the main drinking area. The catering kitchen is located to the right side of the bar servery. There is car park located to the front of the pub that is shared with the shopping centre.

Private accommodation

The private accommodation is located on the first floor and consists of three bedrooms, lounge, kitchen and bathroom and is in reasonable order. The new licensee may wish to put their own stamp on the private quarters making it feel homely and to their taste.
