Trading style

The Dunkirk Tavern is a respected community local with a well established level of trade. Currently predominantly wet led, trade is driven from a core of locals and is home to darts teams and two pool teams, and benefits from televised sport via Sky & BT Sport. At weekends there is a lively entertainment programme featuring karaoke, open mic nights and live bands which attract customers from a wider area. There is a small kitchen which offers cooked snacks & supports the teams with a hot food offer.

Ideally we are looking for applicants who are familiar with the area and will become part of the community. They will need to develop the current food offer with the support of Admiral Taverns and also develop the cask ale offer. Experience is desirable however Admiral Taverns have an excellent training programme in place to develop the successful applicant's skills.

Trade accommodation

The outlet is in immaculate condition and is ‘ready to trade’. There is a horseshoe bar split between a lounge and games area with a mixture of fixed and loose seating all in excellent condition catering for up to 50 covers. The ladies and gents toilets are located to the rear of the pub. The catering kitchen is fully equipped and is located next to the bar. To the rear of the pub there is an external smoking area with a patio beer garden with an outside TV built into the wall.
