The Borough Arms is an 1850s old 'Posting House' located in the heart of Lymington, a pretty Georgian coastal town on the southern edge of the New Forest. The pub benefits from all year round tourism as it is surrounded by B&Bs that have no bar/restaurant facilities. It is also walking distance from the town centre, marina and the Isle of White ferry terminal. The Borough Arms has the best of both worlds as there is plenty of residential property nearby and directly opposite the pub is the council offices which employ lots of staff from the nearby National Park.
Lymington is located 18 miles west of Southampton and 40 miles west of Portsmouth. It also looks out across the Solent and directly faces Yarmouth on the Isle of White, four miles as the crow flies.
Admiral Taverns are working with designers and are looking to complete a significant investment at the Borough Arms, refurbishing it both internally and externally to reinstate this pub to the business that it should be.
