Blacksmiths Arms Details

Trading style

The Blacksmiths Arms is a busy, suburban local, offering good traditional pub food with pub teams and weekly entertainment and should be the hub of the community. Traditional pubs games (darts, dominoes and pool) are popular in the area and could easily become part of local leagues. Admiral Taverns are looking for enthusiastic applicants who can take advantage of the existing trade, develop it further and promote a great food offer, cask ales and letting rooms. They will ideally have some business and marketing skills to enable the pub to have an online presence. Admiral Taverns offer a range of support under the 'Business Support Agreement' which is particularly advantageous for those who are new to the industry. This agreement will run for a set period of eight months, providing the licensee with bespoke training programmes, access to business insights from a range of industry experts, and an unrivalled portfolio of products and equipment.

Trade accommodation

The pub boasts an open plan trading area, as well as a well-equipped catering kitchen. On entering the pub, you are faced with a central bar servery with the pool and darts area located to the left side, with a lounge to the right that can seat up to 40 covers. Both of these trading areas benefit from real log fires and prove popular in the colder months with locals and walkers. The catering kitchen is to the rear of the pub behind the bar and can be accessed from all areas of the pub. The ladies and gents toilets are located in the sports area to the left. The pub is in excellent condition throughout and has some fantastic features with beamed ceilings and stoned flooring. Externally the pub benefits from a car park (15 cars) and a covered decking area located to the rear. There are four well-appointed en-suite bedrooms located on the first floor.
