Demand for the Cask Marque award— which recognises pubs that offer quality cask ale — is catching on in Europe and across the Atlantic.
The Bombardier in Paris, run by Charles Wells through its John Bull Pub Company, is the latest to achieve the award.
This follows on from the first pub in Spain to gain the award, The Lounge near Malaga, with a further 10 more sites likely to be nominated. Pubs in Denmark, Finland and Sweden also hold accreditation.
